Attend Mass at the Cathedral

If this is your first time with us and you would like someone to greet you or accompany you during Mass, please contact the Parish Office in advance with your preferred day and Mass time. We’re here to help you feel at home.

Parking

Entry to our on-site parking is via Victoria Road. You’ll find ample spaces directly adjacent to the Cathedral, with additional overflow parking available just beyond the main lot.

Amenities

  • Restrooms: Conveniently located next to the Cloister Hall, immediately to your right as you enter the cloister walkway.
  • Accessibility: Ramp access is available at the main forecourt entrance on Marist Place.

Gift Shop

Discover religious books, sacrament gifts, and Cathedral souvenirs in our Gift Shop, located between the Cloister Hall and the Cathedral Church – right in the middle of our grounds. Open before and after weekend Masses, and during office hours on weekdays (9am – 3pm).

Parish Office

Our Parish Office faces Marist Place, directly in front of the Cathedral forecourt. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm. You can drop in or telephone us at (02) 8839 8400 for any enquiries.

Additional Tips for Your Visit

  • Dress Code: While there is no strict dress code for attending Mass, it is generally considered respectful to dress modestly. Avoid overly revealing clothing or attire that might be considered disrespectful to the sacred space. Aim for neat, clean, and comfortable clothing that reflects the solemn nature of the occasion.
  • Quiet Reflection: The Cathedral is open from 6am to 3pm for personal prayer outside Mass times – feel free to drop by.
